“Father’s message…”

Welcome to St. John the Baptist-Gildehaus Parish! 

St. John’s is a small country parish with a big heart.  We share the Catholic faith and belong to the Archdiocese of St. Louis.  Christ has called everyone to follow him and to receive new life.  We find this new life in the deepest way during weekend Masses where we give God the Father all of our concerns and he gives us his Son and we are united in the Holy Spirit.  From this profound prayer, we are given the love and charity to be other “Christs” in the world carrying out His work as his eyes, ears, hands and feet today.  Therefore, St. John’s has many organizations that enable us to come together in fellowship and to serve.  I hope that you find this website helpful and easy to navigate.
